If It Were Easy,You Would Not Be Calling.

The parts that come to us are the ones somebody else could not make, could not source, or could not get in time. No drawing left. A tolerance that will not forgive. A vessel tied up waiting. That is the work this shop is built around.

Three decades of pressure-containing oilfield work is where our depth and our five patents came from, and it taught us to build components that cannot be allowed to fail. We are still a full job shop — bring us a bracket and we will make the bracket. But the reason to call us is the one nobody else will touch.

FAQ

Questions We Get

What does Machine Tech Services do?

Machine Tech Services is a full-service machine shop and precision manufacturer in Broussard, Louisiana. We are a job shop, which means we make custom parts to order for any industry — CNC and manual machining, custom fabrication, welding, design and drafting, prototyping and reverse engineering. Our deepest experience is in oil and gas, but we manufacture for marine, industrial, OEM, agricultural, transportation and one-off customers alike. We have been machining from the same Acadiana location for more than 30 years.

Does Machine Tech Services only work in oil and gas?

No. Machine Tech Services is a job shop and manufactures parts for any industry. Oil and gas is where we built our deepest experience and our patents, but we routinely machine and fabricate for marine, industrial plants, OEMs and equipment builders, agriculture, transportation, construction and prototype work. If it can be machined, we can make it — bring us the drawing, the sample or the broken part.

Can Machine Tech Services make a custom part for my industry?

Almost certainly. We work from your drawing, specification or a sample rather than a fixed catalog, so the industry matters less than the part. Machine Tech Services machines materials from engineered plastics through stainless steel, up to approximately 40 inches in diameter, in quantities from a single replacement component to a production run. Send it to us at machinetechservices.com/request-a-quote and we will tell you what we can do.

Where is Machine Tech Services located?

Machine Tech Services is located at 1232 Wall Rd, Broussard, Louisiana 70518, in the heart of the Acadiana energy corridor just outside Lafayette. We serve customers across South Louisiana and the Gulf Coast. You can reach the shop at 337-837-2314.

What is the largest part Machine Tech Services can machine?

Machine Tech Services can manufacture components up to approximately 40 inches in diameter. If your part is near or above that size, send the drawing and we will confirm what we can hold before you commit.

What materials can Machine Tech Services machine?

We machine materials ranging from engineered plastics through stainless steel, including carbon steel, alloy steels such as 4140 and 4340, stainless grades such as 316 and 17-4 PH, aluminum and engineered plastics. Tell us the service conditions and we can help select an appropriate material.
